With only 100 copies pressed and sold exclusively at gigs, Live:A Bit on the Side may be considered our rarest CD. It has long since sold out, but now available as a download here.
The first ten songs were recorded at 'The Cherry Tree" in Dagenham with a Yamaha multitrack recorder. The quality was amazingly good so it was considered as bonus material for "Farcebook"
Tracks 11-23 were recorded onto a minidisc at 'Sheldon's in Margate the day after we completed 'Farcebook' It was the entire 1st set. The 2nd set was also recorded, but I forgot to insert a new Mini disc, so only 5 minutes existed.
The bonus track 24, was from our Seaford gig at 'The Bay' again on the Yamaha multi-track. I wish I kept the entire gig as it was very good quality, but having now sold the recorder, it is lost forever. All these songs were offered as a bonus on 'Farcebook'

Insane Society have been around for about 18 years. The first three albums had Sheldon Hannaford on lead vocals. Steve and Wag are almost ever present and Chris is the 4th bassist following Stefan (died) Gavin (retired due to fatherhood) and JJ Kaos who is still playing bass for The Last Resort. Sheldon took a free transfer to Vicious Rumours in 2011 before being dropped. ... more
